HUNTING LONG RANGE: Rifles and Distance

January 12, 2010

This will be our first DVD title to look at long range hunting. We have for years enjoyed shooting  , reloading and good rifles in general. There is almost nothing as enjoyable as watching a well made shot done well and filming it. We have for years been filming at first what we thought was the limit of the rifle or perhaps the hunter, now we  have exceeded all of those distances and more often we are at the limit of our cameras. We are going to bring you 12 new hunts for elk , deer and sheep all at long range . We will show you the guns, scopes, ranging devices and other pieces of fairly newMIKE WHELAN AND TRAVIS WHELAN AZ DESERT BIGHORNCasey Adams , CO 2008travis-whelan-wt-coues-az-10-09-3.jpg equipment, all the gear that has changed and made possible shots of 600 to a 1000 yards. We will bring you what we feel is real today for the hunter, how to learn what is available and what to realistically expect from yourself in the field. What you can do or have done to a rifle and what you can expect from it. How far and how accurately can you range an object, how well can you read the wind, how to get yourself steady and ready. All of this wrapped around some really good hunts.

Be ready when it comes out June 2010, see you then!
